Octagon | Bone-In Rib Eye Review | Thornhill, Ontario

Octagon | Bone-In Rib Eye | Thornhill, Ontario | $65.95 | Chicago Medium Rare ||

Fine dining steakhouse which reminds me so much of Peter’s in the inside, but more spacious. The steak was very flavourful and perfectly cooked. But there were some misses in my overall experience esp considering their menu is pricier. The garlic bread was not as good – it wasn’t drenched in garlic like in Peter’s. The lobster bisque was disappointing – tasted like tomato sauce, no hint of alcohol and very little lobster. The chicago style was too burnt (yes I know I asked for it but I was expecting a level of charring that doesn’t overpower the meat). I’ll be sticking to Peter’s.
