Ponte Vecchio | Florence, Italy

Ponte Vecchio | Florence, Italy |

Went to Florence as part of my Mediterranean cruise with Norwegian Epic last May 2015. We only had a day to explore the city so it was quite rushed. Found this bridge very interesting as it’s very colorful and fractions of the bridge have shops in it. There’s also a good gelato page nearby.

The Ponte Vecchio is a Medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno River, in Florence, Italy, noted for still having shops built along it, as was once common.
