One of the best things to do in St. John’s is to visit the Quidi Vidi Brewery for a Tour and Beer Tasting. For $10, you get the brewery tour and beer tasting of 5-7 beers.
The tour brings you around the Quidi Vidi Brewery facility to learn about their brewing process. In the tasting, we got to try 5 beers: Eric’s Cream Ale, Iceberg, 1892, Light, and Colonial – a seasonal beer.
This Iceberg beer was my favorite. It’s like drinking sub-zero beer because it’s brewed with 25,000-year-old iceberg water harvested from Newfoundland’s icebergs.
Quidi Vidi Brewery is the first brewery I’ve been with very beautiful scenic surroundings, making it a nice place to take photos and walk around.
It is also close to Mallard Cottage, one of the best restaurants in St. John’s and in Canada! So it will be a great way to hop both places.
